Event Evaluation 360 for events & festivals
No two events or festivals are alike in terms of size, audience profile and geographic reach – and we should know; we’ve worked with lots! But there’s one thing that many Scottish events and festivals have in common: a growing need to report to funders and partners and to quantify the impact of their activities locally, regionally and online.
In response to increasing demand, we’ve created the Event Evaluation 360 package: an affordable four-part research solution developed with the specific needs of Scotland’s events and festival producers in mind. Our new modular package combines traditional measures of attendance with economic impact calculations; social impact analysis and digital media insights, putting all the metrics that you need at your fingertips.
- Minimal disruption for you: it’s an online process, and we’ll use our social media listening tools alongside data drawn from google analytics and the visitor email addresses that you collect from your audience;
- Tried and tested process: using the eventIMPACTS methodology, we will give you the clearest possible picture of your current audience; their profiles, behaviours and opportunities for growth; and highlight the full extent of your current reach;
- Reporting made easy: our research outputs will make it easy for you to comply with Creative Scotland’s most up-to-date reporting requirements, and to benchmark your own findings with those of your peers around the country;
- Quick and effective: from beginning to end, Event Evaluation 360 is a six-week process, meaning that you’ll have all the results you need within weeks of your event or festival end-date ready to feed in to your next planning or evaluation cycle.
This standard package focuses on information gathered from visitors. Our modular approach means that it’s easy to add in extra elements – so if you want to add in research with artists, exhibitors or volunteers, or to take your visitor feedback to a deeper level with face-to-face audience questionnaires at your event, that’s no problem.
Our research package
Full service including research set-up, analysis and reporting, based on our preferred eventIMPACTS methodology:
- Attendance evaluation: accurate measures of attendance and visitor profiles;
- Economic impact: measuring the total amount of additional spend in a geographic region, that can be attributed as a direct result of an event or festival having taken place;
- Social impact: from good memories to long-term behaviour change, the short- and long-term effect of an event on visitor behaviours and attitudes;
- Digital media impact: analysing the volume, type and tone of digital conversations mentioning the event; assessing the extent to which the event’s digital profile contributed to its overall purpose, and, where possible, comparing these metrics with data gathered from previous years.
Extra modules:
- Evaluations with artists, exhibitors and/or volunteers:
- On-site visitor interviews: price dependent on time and quantity; contact us for a quote.
