Thinking Out of the Box
Join Culture Republic for an intensive full-day masterclass and workshop with Andrew Thomas of the Ticketing Institute in order to get serious about making the most of your CRM or ticketing system.
The day will be a mix of presentation, discussion and reflection. Don’t come to be talked at but be ready to roll your sleeves up and get serious about how your organisation is collecting, storing and using the data it holds on audiences.
It doesn’t matter what system you’re currently using because for this event it’s not the system but how you use it that counts. We’ll be getting under the skin of how to use what you’ve got better.
Ticketed and non-ticketed organisations will have something to learn from the day’s session which will challenge you to interrogate the role data plays within your organisation. We will look at:
- Where it is
- What it can do for you
- What aspects of your work should be influenced by data?
Good data management and acting on the insights it provides can inform your pricing or forward programme but we’ll look into which is the chicken and which is the egg. Workshop sessions will delve into:
- How you can turn your data into profit.
- Does size matter? Have you got as much data as you should have (or is it how you use it that counts)?
- What opportunities are you missing (and what are they costing you)?
This event is suitable for all types of arts and cultural organisations – from performing arts venue to gallery and from festival to heritage site. The day’s content will be tailored to meet your needs – individually and as a group.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
- How to earn more income using the information and the system you’ve already got.
- Good data practice – to help you make sure you’ve got the information you need.
- How to get the most out of your CRM or ticketing system by learning from real practice in other organisations.
